Introducing the Nokia N78, a smartphone with unique software putting the power of satellite navigation at your fingertips, available at The Carphone Warehouse from June 1 2008. Clever on-screen maps pinpoint your exact location before giving clear directions to any UK destination.
Taking advantage of A-GPS functionality and a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, the N78 introduces ‘geotagging’ to Nokia handsets. Now you can add geographic information tags to the photos you take, recording exactly where in the world they were taken. Uploading images directly onto the web to share with friends and family can then be done with ease directly from the handset.
70 megabytes of internal memory (with the option to expand) makes it easy to carry your photos, music, podcasts and videos with you. There’s enough space for 24 hours of music and a built-in FM transmitter allows you to share tracks with friends who can tune in to your playlist.
A mere 15.1mm thick, the N78 is a multimedia computer offering the latest in smartphone technology. 3G HSDPA allows you to enjoy high-speed internet connectivity, transfers and downloads, whilst 3G video calls can be made using the second camera located on the front of the handset.
