LONDON October 26th, 2011—Today, Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy have announced that they will be stocking the much hyped Nokia Lumia 800 from 16th November 2011. Available to pre-order from today at Carphone Warehouse, this highly anticipated handset is the debut product of the budding partnership with Microsoft and the first to showcase the new Windows 7.5 operating system. The phone will be available in stores nationwide and online at http://www.carphonewarehouse.com from free on a £31 per month contract or for £449.95 on Pay As You Go. Plus, anyone who pre-orders the new phone from Carphone Warehouse will also receive a free £50 gift card to spend in Sainsbury’s, Debenhams, Next or Toys R Us.
The new Nokia Lumia 800, powered by the Windows 7.5 operating system boasts an array of new features including speech commands that allow users to send a text with just their voice, and Office Mobile capabilities which sync work documents to the handset making editing on the go possible.
This touchscreen handset presents an exciting new experience, offering next-generation multitasking which lets users keep their place in a game whilst reading an e-mail. The phone also sports an impressive mobile version of Internet Explorer 9 that supports the same web standards and graphics that customers will be used to seeing on desktop computers.
