The Carphone Warehouse launches ‘begadgets’ online youth network

The Carphone Warehouse has today announced the launch of an online youth network in partnership with AOL’s Bebo to provide younger people with the chance to find out about the latest tech news and get involved in discussions about new technology.
The ‘begadgets’ site is aimed at tech-savvy teens aged 13+ and includes details of new handset releases, product reviews, competitions and debates on the latest technology. Designed to give a voice to young people with an interest in technology, the newly launched ‘begadgets’ page has been created within Bebo at and is accessible not only to Bebo members but also to non-members through the website address: http://www.bebo.com/begadgets.
The group will give members the chance to take part in debates and polls, enter competitions to win new handsets and other gadgets and will feature exclusive content from special guest bloggers.
As the begadgets group grows, The Carphone Warehouse will invite members to participate in an exclusive youth feedback group being developed by the organisation to better understand teenage attitudes to technology.
